Thamann Architecture + Design is a full-service Architecture and Design firm located in Miami, Florida. We specialize in modern, high-end single-family residences. We care deeply about each individual home’s design – striving to make each residence unique and perfectly planned to unite the owner’s dreams and desires with their needs and nuances. We also care deeply about our clients who intend on inhabiting the architecture. Getting to know our clients is the key to making their dream home emerge, and is often times the most exciting part of the project. We pride ourselves on taking the time to learn about and connect with our clients, and we feel that the relationship that arises from this endeavor is nearly as important as the architectural work itself.

We find immense joy in the design challenges that come with each project, and seek to bring concepts derived from owner relationships into our work. We believe in making the outside of your home as important as the inside - oftentimes seeking to blur the lines between the two in order to create a paradise in your own localized landscape.
We are committed to listening and learning from all parties involved in the project and find that the best projects often emerge from the input of many parties. Clients, contractors, engineers, and consultants are all necessary to complete these significant works, and we root ourselves in humility to make sure that all voices are heard and explored. Having had the opportunity to work with professional athletes, prominent developers, CEOs, financiers, and doctors, we’ve learned to communicate concisely and effectively to produce works that are easily digestable to any client’s busy schedule. While we work to create homes that blur the lines between the indoor and outdoor space, we are always focused on excellence and relationship-based service so that your home can provide enjoyment for many years to come. We focus on communication and responsiveness to provide excellence for our clients. We are currently working on several homes in the Miami area as well as in the surrounding areas of Fort Lauderdale, Jupiter, and Boca Raton. With over ten years of experience in the high-end single-family market of South Florida, Cody has established himself as a seasoned professional and a part of the avante garde in Miami modern architecture. His portfolio includes a diverse range of residences, spanning from 4,000 to 30,000 square feet. Driven by a deep passion for design, Cody approaches each project as an opportunity to unlock its full potential. He sees every home as a unique challenge and a chance to make a lasting, positive impact on his clients’ lives. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a tireless work ethic, Cody is dedicated to delivering outstanding results that exceed his clients’ expectations.
DANE THAMANN, PROJECT MANAGER
Armed with a Masters in Architecture from The Ohio State University, Dane brings a wealth of technical knowledge and design acumen to his work. Upon joining forces with his brother in South Florida, Dane has proven his ability to conceive and execute compelling designs that meet clients’ unique needs. With a track record of working on large-scale homes, Dane is adept at all aspects of the design process, including construction drawings, permitting, and construction administration.
SPENCER VAN DEUSEN, PROJECT MANAGER
Spencer is an accomplished professional who holds a degree from the esteemed Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and possesses extensive experience in the single-family luxury market here South Florida. With a strong background in construction documentation, Spencer has the technical know-how to execute projects to a high standard - and a design eye that pushes a project to the next level.
